Allows changing the height at which clouds appear.

Raised Clouds requires the Fabric modloader.

Installation

  1. Download Raised Clouds from CurseForge or GitHub.
  2. Place the downloaded file in your mods folder.

Configuration

The configuration can be edited in the config/raisedclouds.json file or using the Mod Menu mod. Descriptions and values for each configuration option are available in-game when using Mod Menu.

Usage

By default, Raised Clouds does not make any changes to the Y position of clouds. However, it can be configured to override or scale the base Y and anchor the position to the camera.

How to Install Raised Clouds on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Raised Clouds". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Raised Clouds server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Raised Clouds compatible with fabric?
