About this Mod
Make those sad, empty default fireworks go away!
📖 About
This mod makes Fireworks launched without "Explosions" NBT data (e.g. crafted w/o Firework Stars) "automagically" populate with a random valid NBT Explosion. A table of functionality is as follows:
- Random Firework Explosion Generated
- When fired from your hands
- When fired with a Dispenser
- When fired from a Crossbow (yes, it does 6 damage just as you'd expect too)
- Random Firework Explosion NOT Generated
- While flying with an Elytra

Server lagging with Randomized Default Fireworks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Randomized Default Fireworks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
