About this Mod
This datapack adds tornadoes, but they have a very rare chance to spawn (one each 3 hours on land and one each 20 minutes in the ocean)
Tornadoes mechanic:
- Destroy grass block, leaves and thrown items
- Keep players stuck rotating around it if they get too close
- Can have mobs inside of it such as skeletons and creepers! Can also steal your villagers
- Damage nearby players til they die
- Tornadoes are moving quite fast
- Wind sound
Optimized to prevent lag
If you wish to spawn a tornado to see how it looks, you can run /function tornadoes:tornadomaker or /function tornadoes:tornadomaker_ocean depending if you are on land or in the ocean

How to Install Ravageous Tornadoes on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Ravageous Tornadoes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Ravageous Tornadoes server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Ravageous Tornadoes consumes the most tick time.
