This mod overhauls how you obtain leather by replacing leather in most mob drops by instead dropping rawhides. These rawhides need to be scraped on a tanning rack, and then soaked in lye-water before being dried on a tanning rack.

Ash is made by either breaking a campfire, or by smelting charcoal in a furnace or blast furnace. To make lye-water, you need to add ash to either a water source or a cauldron.

*it also adds craftable saddles, otherwise this is pretty lightweight/small, good for modpacks, will have more types of hide added in time.

How to Install Raw-hide on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Raw-hide". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
