About this Mod

Description

Prevents combining Mending and Unbreaking on the same item by making these enchantments mutually exclusive.

Affects anvils, enchanting tables, and all vanilla mechanics that would normally allow stacking both enchantments.
Ensures consistent behavior across all item types.
Fully server-side — no client installation required.
Lightweight implementation with zero dependencies.

A minimalistic tweak to enforce a deliberate trade-off:

Infinite repair (Mending) or extended durability (Unbreaking) — not both.

How to Install reMending on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1-pre-3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "reMending". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
