About this Mod

This mod improves parrot behavior and makes parrots breedable.

Just like other vanilla animals, feeding two parrots with “parrot food” will make them slowly approach each other and eventually produce a baby parrot.

Baby parrots can also perch on the player’s shoulder and will gradually grow into adults over time.

Known Issue:

Currently, the parrot breeding AI is not very proactive. Players may need to make them sit and nudge them closer to help initiate breeding.

How to Install Realistic Bird Behavior on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Realistic Bird Behavior". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
