About this Mod

RealtimeSynth

RealtimeSynth synchronizes your real-world time with Minecraft's day-night cycle, creating an immersive experience where the game world reflects the actual time of day. Perfect for players who want their Minecraft adventures to match the rhythm of real life!

Features

Real-Time Synchronization: Your Minecraft world time automatically matches your system clock

Seamless World Creation: New worlds spawn with the correct time of day based on when you
create them

Automatic Updates: Time syncs every 10 seconds without any performance impact

Smart Mapping: 6:00 AM real time = sunrise in-game, 12:00 PM = noon, 6:00 PM = sunset, 12:00 AM = midnight

Configurable Notifications: Toggle sync messages on/off to your preference

Time Display Commands: Check both real and in-game time with simple commands

Server Compatible: Works perfectly on both singleplayer and multiplayer servers

How It Works

Once installed, RealtimeSynth runs completely automatically in the background. The mod disables Minecraft's default day-night cycle and takes full control of time progression based on your computer's clock. If you create a world at 7:00 PM in real life, you'll spawn into a world that's already experiencing evening/night time.

Technical Details

Performance Optimized: Uses efficient tick-based updates every 200 game ticks

Server-Side Logic: All synchronization happens server-side for multiplayer compatibility

Non-Intrusive: Doesn't interfere with other time-related mods or vanilla mechanics

Memory Efficient: Minimal memory footprint with smart caching

Frequently Asked Questions

RealtimeSynth server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.16.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is RealtimeSynth compatible with forge?

RealtimeSynth officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.16.5. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with RealtimeSynth – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if RealtimeSynth consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
