About this Mod
✨ Refined Enchanting
Stop rolling the dice. Start master-crafting.
A polished Vanilla+ overhaul that replaces random enchanting with level-up gear growth, a ‘pick-your-power’ master-crafting system, and a modder-friendly API.
📈 Level Up Your Gear
Your tools aren't static anymore. They gain Experience (XP) just by being used:
- Swords & Bows: Gain XP by defeating mobs.
- Shields: Gain XP by blocking attacks.
- Armor: Gain XP by Dealing damage.
- Pickaxes & Shovels: Gain XP by mining blocks.
- Axes: Gain XP by chopping logs.
- Hoes: Gain XP by Harvesting crops.
- Fishing Rods: Gain XP by Fishing.
As your tool levels up, it unlocks the ability to hold more powerful enchantments.
💎 Pick Your Enchantments
Forget the random "spinning slot machine" of the old enchanting table. Refined Enchanting gives you control:
- Open the Table: Put your tool and some Lapis inside.
- Pick Your Power: You’ll see a list of every enchantment that tool can handle.
- Pay the Price: Each enchantment has a Tool Level Requirement and a Lapis Cost.
- No More Randomness: If you meet the requirement, the enchantment is yours. No surprises.
🚀 How to Get Started
Craft a tool → Use it to gain XP → Enchant once requirements are met.
