About this Mod
About:
This mod is a port of the original Mosaic Blocks mod and adds mosaic blocks that can be used for decoration. Craft it from diorite and glass, then pick one of the 16 patterns in the stone cutter, and then right click the block with the dye of your choice. The blocks can also have different rotations, just like glazed terracotta.
You can also shift-left-click a placed mosaic block with an empty hand to easily change its rotation.
You can use them to create Beautiful Murals and Mosaics! These blocks can also be used in your contraptions. Wet sponge will remove mosaic blocks color upon contact, and each color will output a different signal strength through a redstone comparator!
When applying a dye to the mosaic block, there is a 20% chance that the dye will be consumed. This percentage can be configured in the gamerules, to anything between 0% (never consume dye) and 100% (always consume dye)
With this port I have also added compat for the colors of the Dye Depot mod and integration with Clutter No More.
FAQ:
What's planned next for the mod?
- I will continue to port the mod as time goes on and will sometimes add new features or suggestions, but there is currently nothing new planned.
Can you backport to version x.x.x?
- No, backports are quite the work and I won't have time for that. However if you can code, feel free to open a PR on github!
