About this Mod

RegSyncFix

This is a simple Fabric mod that bypasses errors during registry syncs in Fabric API (example below). It can be used on the server side
to disable syncs entirely, or you can install it on your client and the client will proceed despite the error.

Tested on 1.20.4 but will probably work on just about any version of Minecraft with Fabric API.

WARNING

The registry sync is there for a reason. If you are using this mod you may encounter unexpected behavior if the mods are
not the same as the server. The intent of this mod is for cases where you know everything should work fine but the
registry is preventing you from joining.

How to Install RegSyncFix on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "RegSyncFix". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

RegSyncFix server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if RegSyncFix consumes the most tick time.
