Remin: Realistic Minerals

Overhauls pickaxe tier mechanics with 10 tiers from wood to diamond, adds a myriad of ores and generated blocks for obtaining various metals and minerals which can be used by other mods, along with several new tool and armour sets. New game progression engaging from spawn to finish. This mod also allows you to craft stone tools and furnaces with Diorite, Andesite, Granite and (the new) Feldspar.

Built-in compatibility with Ars Nouveau, Hexerei, Ice And Fire, Immersive Aircraft, Iron Chests, Epic Knights, Gelaria, Nameless Trinkets, Simply Swords, Supplementaries and Tough as Nails. Should also work with mods such as Industrial Craft and Tinker's Construct.

Planned compatibility with Oritech for future versions.

Some minerals are specific to a group of biomes or even to a certain biome and are not universally distributed throughout the world. Some resources may also be specific to certain dimensions.

1- Wood
2- Stone
3- Bronze / Iron / Nickel (Bronze required to obtain iron)
4- Steel / Titanium
5- Quartz
5.5 (not necessary) - Tungsten
6- Topaz
6.5 (not necessary) - Chromium
7- Ruby / Sapphire
8- Diamond
The previous tier is required to obtain the next.
Blocks can only be harvested by a pickaxe of equal or higher hardness, the hardness is stated in the tooltips.
Flint can now only be obtained with a steel or better shovel.
The vanilla diamond has been repurposed as a quartz, it still slots into the game progression after steel.
