Rename Commands

This mod adds two commands that help with renaming items and entities faster in creative mode.

Commands:

/rename <entity> <name>

This command will rename the item that the target is holding in their main hand. It's comparable with the functionality of an anvil.

/rename <entity>

This command works like the command listed above, but it resets the name instead of changing it.

/renameentity <entity> <name>

This command will rename the entities specified in the command.

/renameentity <entity>

This command works like the command listed above, but it resets the names instead of changing them.

How to Install Rename Commands on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Rename Commands". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
