About this Mod

The mod implements a cooldown functionality for both Vault blocks variants:

  • The non-ominous vault variant has a cooldown of 10 real life hours;
  • The ominous vault variant has a cooldown of 12 real life hours.

Vault Cooldown Mechanics:

  • The vault block doesn't have to be loaded all the time for the cooldown to tick down, it continues ticking even if the player is in another dimension.
  • If the mod is added to a world that already has opened vaults, they will still receive the cooldown functionality.
  • Each player has their own individual cooldown, which is independent of the cooldowns of other players, so if the cooldown for one player is over only that player is allowed to open the vault block until the cooldowns of the other players finish.

Gamerules:

  • "vaultBlockCooldown" - changes the cooldown of the non-ominous vault variant
  • "ominousVaultBlockCooldown" - changes the cooldown of the ominous vault variant
