This mod fixes a bug where using a Riptide trident while wearing Depth Strider boots causes extreme drag in water. With this fix, you no longer need to remove your boots when traveling with a Riptide trident.
I originally created this mod for personal use, but decided to publish it because I thought others might find it useful as well.
Please be careful when using this mod on public servers. Riptiding quickly even though you are wearing depth strider could trigger anti-cheat plugins, although I haven't tested this.
Disclaimer
A solution to this bug was suggested on the bug report by the user __null. I used their code analysis while writing this mod, and ported it to work with Minecraft 1.21.4 and above.

How to Install Riptide Depth Strider Fix on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2-rc-2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Riptide Depth Strider Fix". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
