About this Mod
Riptide Outside Water: A Fabric mod that allows players to use the Riptide Enchantment outside of Water!
Riptide Outside Water is a Fabric mod that lets you use the Riptide Enchantment outside of Water with a configurable cooldown applied to the Trident, You can tweak this cooldown value to suit your preferred balance over the game.
This mod depends on the library mod Roselib & Fabric API!
How to use:
- Install the mod and run Minecraft at least once.
- Go to the config folder inside your .minecraft folder.
- Find the file named "RiptideOutsideWater.json".
- Open that file with any text editor and edit the settings.
The JSON file should look something like this:
{
"refreshCooldownOnTouchingWaterOrRain": true, // Sets if the cooldown should refresh automatically if the player is touching water or getting rained on.
"appliedCooldown": 200.0 // Value for the cooldown after use outside of water (measured in ticks)
}
Note:
This mod is STRICTLY required on both the client and the server! Meaning that both the client and the server needs this mod to function!.
if you dont have the mod installed on the client, the riptide will not boost you, and the mod will disable itself when you are playing on a server that does not have it.
as usual, the server's config will override the client's.
