About this Mod

Sable Chunk Guard is a small NeoForge patch mod for Sable.

The mod prevents Sable physics and entity collision code from synchronously loading chunks that are not already fully loaded. When a required chunk is missing or still generating, the unsafe physics or collision calculation is skipped for that tick instead of forcing the server
thread to wait.

This reduces the risk of severe 0 TPS freezes, slow chunk stalls, and world exit hangs caused by Sable interacting with unloaded or generating chunks.

How to Install Sable Chunk Guard on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sable Chunk Guard". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
