About this Mod

Safe Farmland

Safe Farmland is a lightweight utility mod for Minecraft servers that prevents farmland from being trampled by players or mobs. With this mod installed, farmland will remain fully protected — no more accidental soil destruction or crop loss due to careless movement, griefing, or mobs jumping in your fields. Built for Fabric, the mod is plug-and-play and requires no configuration or permissions.

This mod is simple and stable, but if you encounter any unexpected behavior, feel free to open an issue on GitHub. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

  • Trample Prevention
Stops farmland from reverting to dirt when walked, jumped, or landed on, whether by players, mobs, or entities.

  • Mob-Proof Farming
Friendly or hostile mobs can no longer accidentally ruin your crops.

  • No Configuration Needed
Works automatically with no setup. Just drop it in your mods folder and restart the server.

  • Client-Side Friendly
Fully server-side, players don’t need to install the mod to benefit from its protection.

  • Grief Protection Enhancement
Pairs well with server moderation tools to prevent both accidental and intentional crop damage.

Use Cases

  • Accident Prevention
Prevent players from ruining your community farms just by jumping or running through them.

  • Grief Protection
Add an extra layer of defense against trolls and unintentional damage on SMPs.

  • Mob Safety
Avoid farmland loss due to wandering animals or zombies landing in fields.

  • Low-Maintenance Servers
Great for survival or economy servers where players rely on persistent farmland.
