About this Mod
Sandy Husks - English
Tired of spending hours gathering sand? With Sandy Husks, every Husk you kill can drop sand, making survival, Skyblock, or large building projects much faster and more efficient. This datapack gives Husks a purpose beyond experience points and adds a fun, rewarding mechanic to your world.
How it works:
- Each Husk can drop 0 to 2 sand per kill.
- Looting enchantments increase the maximum amount, making your battles even more rewarding.
Probabilities of getting sand from Husks at different Looting levels:
No Looting:
- 0 Sand → 33%
- 1 Sand → 33%
- 2 Sand → 33%
- Average Sand/Kill: 1
Looting I:
- 0 Sand → 25%
- 1 Sand → 37.5%
- 2 Sand → 25%
- 3 Sand → 12.5%
- Average Sand/Kill: 1.25
Looting II:
- 0 Sand → 18.75%
- 1 Sand → 31.25%
- 2 Sand → 31.25%
- 3 Sand → 15.625%
- 4 Sand → 3.125%
- Average Sand/Kill: 1.5

How to Install Sandy Husks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sandy Husks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Sandy Husks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Sandy Husks consumes the most tick time.
