About this Mod
Save Your Soul is a simple mod that adds the ability to save your progress, much like in Undertale.
!WARNING!
This is my first experience in mod creation, so bugs may occur. If you encounter any, please report them.
Also, the mod is inherently quite "cheaty" due to the ability to save and load at any moment. Please keep this in mind when installing it.
While playing, you can open a menu at any time (default key: "G"). In this menu, pressing the "Save" button will set your respawn point at that location. Pressing the "Load" button will teleport you back to that point.
The mod also features a test mechanic: the LVL system.
Initially, it is disabled in the world, but you can turn it on/off at any time by typing the command /lvl_system true. If the system is enabled, information about your current level will appear at the top of the save menu.
Your level increases when you kill creatures, with experience gained based on their maximum health. Upon leveling up, your maximum HP increases (by 1 point per level). The maximum level is 20. Each subsequent level requires more experience to reach.
This system is still under development, so some of its mechanics may seem strange or illogical. If you have any suggestions for improving it, please feel free to share them. You can currently check your experience points and the experience required for the next level by typing the command /getstats [player].
