About this Mod

Dread transforms the Overworld into a tense, oppressive environment built for horror. Fog swallows the world just a few blocks from your face, nights are pitch black with no stars or clouds to guide you, and all grass and flowers are stripped away — leaving the land bare and unsettling. Render distance is locked, fog thickens as darkness falls, and sleeping or skipping the night snaps the world into daylight instantly. Lightweight, client-friendly, and designed to drop into any horror modpack with zero configuration.

How to Install AdvancedDarkness on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "AdvancedDarkness". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
