Mekanism: Scuba Diving Effect
gives the player that's scuba diving a dummy effect, for modpack devs!
About this Mod
when the player is underwater with active scuba gear, they recieve a dummy scubadivingeffect:swimmer effect. it can be used with mods like stamina for tweakers to disable stamina depletion when the player is actively swimming around in water.
the effect is completely invisible. it doesnt show up in the inventory or hud or display any particles. to test if its active put this in a repeating command block
execute if entity @a[nbt={ActiveEffects:[{"forge:id":"scubadivingeffect:swimmer"}]}] run say hi! im an active swimmer effect
this mod doesnt do anything by itself. it is a mekanism addon but it doesnt require mekanism (but it will do less than nothing without it)
info
it has a server config file for the chest and head item, as well as the duration and amplifier it will apply to the player each tick.even with a reconfigured item thats not mekanism:scuba_tank it will only work if the item has a {mekdata-blocked:{running:1b}} nbt on it
may change in future updates if this mod will get a single download lmao
