About this Mod

Second Chance makes a small change to player and pet health, which prevents one shots if the player/pet is close to full health. This prevents unfair one-shots and gives time to react to powerful enemies.

This will not apply to fall damage, falling blocks, void damage, or players attacking pets.

You can edit the Second Chance threshold in second-chance.properties and second_chance_config.json.

How to Install Second Chance on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Second Chance". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
