SE:ngine
A mod that simplifies map creation using simple triggers and listeners.
About this Mod
SE:ngine
A mod that improves map creation with a new trigger system.
Adds:
- Edit mode
- 9 triggers:
- Map trigger - a trigger that reacts to a player in its area of effect; all triggers work on this principle. This trigger sends a signal to the flag attached to it.
- Enemy trigger - the same as the first trigger, except it reacts to hostile mobs.
- Checkpoint trigger
- Map Abyss - reacts to the player, teleports them to the trigger location, and deals damage.
- Damage trigger - deals damage.
- Title trigger - displays text in the title or subtitle.
- Map music trigger - plays music
- Function trigger - activates a specific function on behalf of the server or player
- Redstone receiver - essentially a trigger, sends a signal to the flag when it receives a redstone signal
- 8 listeners:
- Title Listener
- Map Music Listener
- Function Listener
- Redstone Listener - sends a redstone signal of a certain strength
- Door Listener - replaces the selected closed state block and, if true, replaces it with an active state block
- Spawner Listener - summons enemies to its area
- Light Listener - activates a light source of a certain strength
- Explosion Listener - activates a bang. Does not explode blocks.

SE:ngine server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is SE:ngine compatible with fabric?
SE:ngine officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SE:ngine – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SE:ngine consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
