Mod adds the Selectable Painting, that can select the painting, that should be placed.
The Mod is need on server and client side.

How to use the Selectable Painting?
With a right-click on a block, you place the painting.
If you hang the painting down, you get the painting item with the size and painting selected, that you hang up.
With a right click into the air, you can open a GUI, where you can select the painting size and the painting.
If you tick "Random Painting", a random painting with the selected size will be placed.
The current size and the selected painting is shown in the tooltip.
If the painting is too big for the place to place on, you get an error message.

How to Install Selectable Painting on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Selectable Painting". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Selectable Painting server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Selectable Painting compatible with forge and neoforge?
Selectable Painting officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Selectable Painting – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Selectable Painting consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
