About this Mod

Selective Keep Items lets you decide which items stay with players after death by defining them in a config file, giving you full control over what is preserved and what is lost.

This is useful for protecting important items, without changing normal death behavior for everything else.

For example, you can keep valuable tools or armor, while still making death feel meaningful.

How to Install Selective Keep Items on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Selective Keep Items". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
