Shearable Vines

Use shears on vines to stop them from growing! This allows vines to be sheared exactly like cave (glowberry) vines!

* Note about server compatibility *

Because this mod modifies block state, while playing on a server the mod needs to be installed both on the server AND the client! If you hop on to a server and notice all the blocks are wrong, either you have the mod and the server doesn't or vice-versa.

I've been investigating ways around this, but I don't have anything promising yet. For now, you'll simply have to install the mod in both places. Sorry!

How to Install Shearable Vines on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Shearable Vines". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Shearable Vines consumes the most tick time.
