About this Mod

This is my first published mod made without MCreator and I'm not a great programmer.

I'm also not a native english speaker, so if you have any feedback for this mod or its mod page please tell me in the comments.

As the title suggests, this mod makes the enchantment Thorns avaliable to use on shields. You can enchant a shield with Thorns by using a enchanted book of thorns on a shield with an anvil. Shields with Thorns applied will have a chance of reflecting damage upon the attacker if it is currently being used to block attacks. This mod is for Fabric 1.18.x and I talk about potentially making a forge version in this youtube video.

How to Install [FABRIC] Shield Thorns on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "[FABRIC] Shield Thorns". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
