About this Mod
Have you ever tried to create a deep-dark themed build, but been discouraged by the lack of any sculk-based building blocks? Well than this is the mod for you!
This mod focuses on adding simple, vanilla+ style blocks that fit the theme of the deep dark, being made almost entirely of native materials.
Current Features:
- Sculk infected versions of all deepslate variants, with stairs, slabs, and walls for all, even chiseled.
- A surivival friendly version of reinforced deepslate. Would be cosmetic only, and have only a slight increase in hardness.
Future Plans:
- Blocks based on the bone-like material of the catalyst.
Questions before you even ask them:
Q: Fabric?
A: Maybe.
Q: Backport?
A: Possibly, but no further than 1.19, because there would be no point.
Q: Forward Port?
A: Will mostly depend on whether other developers also start migrating. There are mixed reports on how the new component system will effect the modding ecosystem.
Q: How do I get them?
A: Surround one block of sculk with 8 cobbled deepslate to get 8 infected deepslate, and use the stonecutter to make all variants from that. Trimmed Deepslate is made with 5 deepslate and 4 bones, with variants made in the stonecutter.
