Features

Allows sugarcane to be placed on blocks that are not adjacent to water source blocks

Technical "Methodology" 🤓

Modifies the "supports_sugar_cane_adjacently.json" block tag

This tag usually only contains "frosted_ice" to prevent frost walker boots from breaking sugarcane
I added every single block in the videogame to that tag

Custom tag "all_the_blocks.json" is defined under the "hydrated_sugarcane" namespace

This tag was sourced from "Taglib" by HeDeAnTheonlyone (On Github!)
- (I only tacked on the blocks added in 1.21.9+)
- ((thank you so much, I really did not want to have to do that lol 🙏))

Also adds simple logic / scoreholder to provide an installation confirmation on first load only.
No evil ticking functions or anything 👍

How to Install Simple Sugarcane Farming on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Simple Sugarcane Farming". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
