About this Mod
About
This mod simply adds the waterlogged property for all redstone blocks: Redstone, Redstone Torch, Repeater, Comparator, Lever, Buttons, Pressure Plates.

Plugin Version?
While this project is primarily a mod, a plugin implementation is also being developed.
Thanks to the way Minecraft clients and servers communicate, it's possible to emulate waterlogging behavior by making both sides perceive water and blocks differently in specific situations. This approach works surprisingly well, but it is ultimately a workaround and comes with some visual limitations.
If you're using the plugin version, please keep in mind:
- Non-vanilla waterloggable blocks are represented through interactive "holograms".
- Visual effects may not be as accurate as the mod version.
- The plugin and the mod are separate projects with different technical limitations.
- Bug reports for both versions can be submitted through the same GitHub issue tracker.

Bedrock Support?
Yes. Both plugin and Fabric mod.
Plugin
When joining a Java server through Geyser, Bedrock players will also be able to experience the waterlogging features provided by the plugin version.
However, remember that:
- The plugin version is not identical to the mod version.
- Some visual compromises are unavoidable.
- The best experience is still achieved using the mod directly.
Mod? How?
Recent developments around Hydraulic for Fabric make direct Bedrock compatibility increasingly possible. Go check Geyser MC page.
This means that Bedrock players may eventually be able to use the Java mod itself on servers running both Geyser and Hydraulic, equally having the feature parity.
Planned Ports
Currently in development:
- Forge
- NeoForge
- Fabric
- Quilt
- Legacy Fabric
- LiteLoader
- Rift
- Ornithe
- NilLoader
- Babric
- Better Than Adventure (BTA)
- Risugami's ModLoader
