About this Mod
A mod that adds various sleep events to the game, including nightmares, vicious ambushes and the ability to set a sleep percentage/player amount to skip the night even if not all players are sleeping!
This mod adds:
The ability to set the percentage or amount of players that need to sleep to skip the night on servers. Now including wake up messages!
A chance for the player to have a nightmare when sleeping. Nightmares give the player temporary debuffs.
A chance for the player to get ambushed when trying to sleep. Dont sleep in the open!
A new crafting material, Lunar Fragments. These are dropped by hostile mobs at night with a low chance. The drop chance scales with the moon phase, the chance is highest during a full moon!
A Moon Lamp that the player can craft with these fragments and place near their bed to prevent nightmares and get a buff instead
A lot of this mod is controlled in the config file! Please take a look in the config file of the mod when trying it out, as a lot of chances, effects and mobs are arbitrarily chosen as an example!

Is SimpleNightmares compatible with forge?
SimpleNightmares officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.12.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SimpleNightmares – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SimpleNightmares consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
