Simple Positions

Saving and Loading Positions [Client or Server]

This mod lets you save the coordinates of your current position and retrieve them later on via commands. You can give your positions names and even add them to a custom list!

If you want to get a previously saved position, simply search for its name, list and dimension and retrieve its coordinates in your chat.

All positions are saved to a JSON file, so you have total control over your data.

For usage instructions please consult the wiki.

TLDR:

Saving position:

/pos set <dimension>.<list>.<name>

Retrieving position:

/pos get <dimension>.<list>.<name>

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Simple Positions – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Simple Positions consumes the most tick time.
