About this Mod

Found some seeds that are supposed to generate sinkholes down to the bottom of the world but instead on 1.19.3+ you got disappointed by the very deep lakes in place of the sinkhole? Or don't want to generate them in 1.19.2 and upgrade the world to your desired version? Then this mod is for you!

This very simple mod reverts the "sinkhole" bug fix that Mojang silently introduced in version 1.19.3, whereby aquifers no longer generate from world bottom to sea level at places with extremely negative weirdness or peaks/valleys noise values.

Note: Changes by loading/unloading this mod will take effect on all newly generated chunks, since this mod alters vanilla aquifer worldgen code directly without any data packs involved.

How to Install Sinkhole Restorer on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sinkhole Restorer". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
