About this Mod
Skybeam Revival brings a classic piece of modded Minecraft history to 1.12.2. A true recreation of the Skybeam Block from the ancient 1.5.2 Legend Gear mod (famously featured in the Hexxit modpack), this mod restores the block's beautiful celestial aesthetics with modernized functionality. Additionally, this mod also revives the custom Prismatic XP Orb renderer from Legend Gear.
Features:
Nostalgic Aesthetics: Emits the signature celestial beam you remember from the golden age of modding.
Redstone Control: Fully toggleable by redstone.
Enhanced Beam Logic: This revival introduces a new "Beam Permeability" mechanic:
Penetration: The beam is powerful enough to pass through up to two solid blocks without stopping. It will only terminate if it encounters a third solid obstruction in a row. If you have two solid blocks, an air block, and then another solid block, it will also not terminate the beam.
Transparency: Partial blocks (such as slabs) are treated as transparent, allowing the beam to pass through them regardless of quantity.
