Sleep Vote
Sleep Vote adds a configurable multiplayer night skip voting system to Minecraft, letting all players vote to skip the night with interactive chat buttons, boss bar feedback, and optional automatic night votes.
About this Mod
Overview
Sleep Vote is a lightweight Minecraft mod designed to improve multiplayer nighttime gameplay by introducing a configurable, interactive voting system for skipping the night. Instead of relying solely on the traditional single-player “sleep to skip night” mechanic, Sleep Vote allows all online players to participate, ensuring a fair and fun way to advance to daytime. Perfect for servers with multiple players who want a democratic and customizable sleep vote system.
Key Features
- Players can vote “YES” or “NO” using clickable chat buttons when a sleep vote starts. Voting is fast, intuitive, and visible to everyone.
- Automatically triggers a vote at night’s start, so no player has to click a bed to initiate a vote (configurable).
- A dynamic boss bar shows vote progress, fading out gracefully when the vote ends. The bar can display progress either as a cooldown or just as a visual timer.
- Play sounds when the vote starts, during the final countdown, and when the vote ends. You can toggle sounds on or off in the config.
- Fully configurable vote duration, boss bar display duration, auto-start behavior, and sound toggles via a simple JSON config file or commands in-game.
- Informative chat messages announce the start of a vote, who is sleeping, vote results, and whether the night was skipped or continues.
