SleepBuff

SleepBuff is a lightweight Fabric mod that enhances Minecraft’s vanilla sleep mechanic by granting temporary status effects when a player wakes up. Instead of sleep simply skipping the night, waking up now provides a short-lived gameplay bonus.

This mod is designed to complement vanilla — not replace it. Beds function exactly as they normally do, and sleeping is never required. SleepBuff simply adds a small incentive for players who choose to rest.

✨ Features

  • Grants temporary positive status effects upon waking
  • Encourages consistent sleep without forcing it
  • Adds no new items, blocks, GUIs, or complex systems
  • Fully server-side compatible (no client-side requirement if implemented that way)

🎯 Design Philosophy

SleepBuff is intentionally minimal and focused. It enhances one specific moment — waking up — without introducing survival overhauls, stamina systems, or fatigue mechanics.

The changes are subtle, self-contained, and respectful of vanilla balance. Players who choose not to sleep can continue playing exactly as usual.
