SleepCount
A tiny HUD counter that appears whenever someone climbs into bed, showing how many players are currently sleeping out of everyone online. On multiplayer you instantly see how close the server is to skipping the night. Client-side, toggle with K.
About this Mod
SleepCount shows a small HUD counter - Sleeping X / Y - at the top of your screen the moment any player gets into a bed. It tells you, at a glance, how many players are currently sleeping (X) out of everyone online (Y), so on a multiplayer server you can see whether the night is about to skip without alt-tabbing to the player list or guessing.
Features
- Counter appears automatically while at least one player is sleeping, and hides itself again when everyone is up - no clutter the rest of the time.
- Turns green when everybody online is in bed (the night will skip), and stays amber while you're still waiting on someone.
- Pure client overlay - works on any server, no server-side mod required.
- Respects the vanilla
F1hide-HUD toggle. - Toggle the whole feature on/off with K.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11 (Fabric)
- Requires Fabric API
- Client-side only - safe on any server, including vanilla.
Controls
- K - toggle the SleepCount HUD on/off

Server lagging with SleepCount – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SleepCount consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
