Slimum
A Splendid Slimes addon that adds slimes based on the Malum mod
About this Mod
This Splendid Slimes addon adds two new slimes based for the Malum mod, the Soul Slime, and the Brilliant Slime!
Soul Slime:
Diet: Consumes every type of spirit, but seams to have a preference for Eldritch ones
Behavior:
- Because of all the souls stored inside of it, they will sometimes start levitating out of nowhere
- When happy, their aura will give the Earthen Might effect to those around them, but when mad their aura will Reject those near it
Plorts: Their Plort can turn into Soulstone
How to get: You can get Soul Slime Hearts by infusing any Slime Heart with 10 of each different type of spirit (except the eldritch one) and 4 Raw Soulsone

Brilliant Slime:

Behavior:
- Because of all the souls stored inside of it, they will also sometimes start levitating out of nowhere
- When happy, their aura will make everyone around it glow, but when mad their aura will also Reject those near it

Slimum server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Slimum compatible with forge?
Slimum officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Slimum – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Slimum consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
