About this Mod
Overview
This datapack adds recipes to create Slimy Sand and slimy variants of other gravity blocks.
Slimy blocks do not trigger block updates when placed, which means they can be placed on the sides or bottoms of other blocks without falling or causing connected gravity blocks to fall.
Crafting
All slimy blocks are crafted with the same recipe: 4 of the desired target block around 1 slime ball.
Slimy Sand
A Slime Ball and 4 Sand or Red Sand:
Slimy Concrete Powder
A Slime Ball and 4 of any color of Concrete Powder:
Slimy Gravel
A Slime Ball and 4 Gravel:
Placing
Slimy Blocks can be placed like normal blocks. After placing, the blocks will display some slime particles and be converted back to their normal variant.
Because of the block placement detection method, it's possible to place the block in some invalid positions - either inside a partial block, or in a space occupied by an entity. In these situations, the block will not be placed, and a replacement Slimy Block item will be dropped.
