💬 Smart Chat Background

📘 Smart Chat Background makes the Minecraft chat cleaner and easier to read. The mod adds a smart message background option to the chat settings: the background automatically adjusts to the length of each chat line, and a separate slider lets you customize the right-side padding.

It also includes a blurred chat background with adjustable blur strength from 1 to 10. The blur is applied only within the chat message area and respects the smart background width.

The mod is fully client-side and does not need to be installed on the server.

How to Install Smart Chat Background on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Smart Chat Background". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
