About this Mod

SmartComms is a lightweight server-side Fabric mod that adds simple, reliable home commands to Minecraft 1.21.11. It’s built to be small, focused, and easy to understand, so server owners and players can get quality-of-life teleport features without any extra clutter, config files, or complex permissions systems. Drop it into your mods folder on a Fabric server or singleplayer instance and you’re ready to go.
Use /sethome to save your current position as your personal home, /home to instantly return there, and /delhome to remove your saved home when you no longer need it. The /smartcomms command displays basic information about the mod and its available commands directly in chat. Homes are stored per-player, per-world in a human-readable smartcomms_homes.json file in the world folder, making it easy to back up, edit, or inspect data externally.
Also, more commands will be coming soon once Minecraft 26.1 is FINALLY OUT...
SmartComms requires Fabric Loader, Fabric API, and Java 21.

SmartComms server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is SmartComms compatible with fabric?
SmartComms officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SmartComms – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SmartComms consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
