Creepers have been overhauled with tactical AI, making them a genuine threat rather than a brainless mob.

What to expect:

They will not rush you.
Instead of charging straight at you, they sneak up from behind. Patient, quiet, and deeply annoying.

They will mess with your head.
Expect hissing sounds from behind you. By the time you turn around, they have already backed off. They will keep doing this until you panic and run. Then they run too.

You cannot chase them down.
They will stay just out of your sword range until you give up. And you will give up.

Your high base is not safe.
Thinking of building up high to escape them? They will tower up using TNT to reach you. Height is not a strategy anymore.

TNT will be everywhere.
When Creepers are around, expect a lot of TNT in places you did not put it. Be careful.
