About this Mod

This mod changes the default concrete textures to be less grainy and more smooth looking. It also adds an easier way to make concrete - instead of having to place concrete powder in water. Now you can simply make concrete goo! This magical substance only needs dye to become slightly liquid~ Just heat it a bit in your furnace, and you have yourself a nice block of butter smooth concrete.
Why this mod will save your virtual life
- No more concrete powder related accidents
- No more grains to hurt your eyes
- No more having to fight a horde of mobs in the middle of the night because you're missing 1 piece of sand/gravel
- No more exessive breaking of iron pickaxes

Smooth Concrete server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Smooth Concrete compatible with forge?
Smooth Concrete officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Smooth Concrete – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Smooth Concrete consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
