notice:
i've made a new github account, since i lost access to my old one (@treegfx).
full story
my old github account (@treegfx) was hacked around ~ 2 weeks ago. i haven't gotten a response on my support ticket since.
how did this happen? i made the mistake of authenticating with my account from the github cli on a virtual machine i used for testing software, including known viruses. no other accounts are compromised.
i am still logged in from the github cli on my main machine, which i've now used to private all my repositories, including a newly created malicious executable.
don't trust any new code or repositories from this old account! there is a reason why i haven't linked it, but only shared the username
i made a new github account to combat this, which is where i'll soon share new projects.

SmoothHud server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is SmoothHud compatible with fabric?
SmoothHud officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SmoothHud – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SmoothHud consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
