About this Mod

Sneak Tweak lets you tweak the sneak animation you see when pressing or releasing the sneak key.

Options

Modify the animation speed
Disable the smooth animation
Increase the sneaking eye height

Additionally, this mod fixes the annoying sneak bug (MC-159163) that Mojang hasn't fixed yet.

Requires CompleteConfig to be downloaded seperately.

To adjust the settings, either use the config file at config/sneaktweak.conf or open the ingame config via Mod Menu (requires YACL).

This Fabric mod is highly inspired by the equivalent Forge Mod SneakAnimation.

How to Install Sneak Tweak on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sneak Tweak". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Sneak Tweak server crashes on startup – what to do?
