About this Mod

💨 Sneaky!

You know, sometimes, you need to stay sneaky even when you need to open your inventory or a chest. Minecraft just un-sneaks you when that happens. Well, I have fixed that!

QoL

Whenever you open your inventory or do anything that might un-sneak you, this mod prevents un-sneaking from happening!

Sneak Toggle Time

Since v1.3 you can set sneak toggle time! (for all the sneak toggle users <3)

This allows you to hold the sneak button for that amount of time, after which the player will continue sneaking without you holding anything.

To un-sneak - just press the sneak button again!

To access the configuration screen, you need Mod Menu and Cloth Config API installed!

How to Install Sneaky! on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sneaky!". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Sneaky! server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Sneaky! compatible with fabric and quilt?

Sneaky! officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Sneaky! – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Sneaky! consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
