About this Mod

1.0

This simple mod allows you to sort your inventory with click of a button. The mod is lightweight and should run fine on any sort of computer or console like steam deck. One click sorts items and merges identical stacks. It does not override vanilla behavior. Compatibility with other inventory mods is not guaranteed. This mod works on client just fine, tho you have to have Fabric api installed.

The mod has a bunch of features but the main one as you may know sorts your inventory. The mod is early devolopment and has a lot of feautures planned to the future.
Current feautures:
- Inventory button for sorting
- Some basic mod support
- Dev command
Planned feautures:
- Advanced sorting
- Basic config menu
- Sort chests, barrels etc.
- More support for other mods

SortME server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is SortME compatible with fabric?
SortME officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SortME – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SortME consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
