About this Mod

Speedy Hopper & Furnace

A lightweight, server-side utility mod that increases the speed of item processing in vanilla Furnaces and item transfer in Hoppers. Perfect for improving resource throughput in large-scale farms and automated systems without introducing new blocks.

What Does This Project Do?

This mod modifies the default behavior of two Block Entities:

Furnaces (All Types): Reduces the required cook time for all crafting recipes processed by Furnaces, Blast Furnaces, and Smokers.

Hoppers: Reduces the internal cooldown delay applied to hoppers, allowing them to pull and push items much faster.

Config

The mod is configurable in the speedyhopperfurnace-common.toml file, or using the /speedyhopperfurnace command.

How to Install Speedy Hopper & Furnace on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Speedy Hopper & Furnace". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
