About this Mod

Custom loading screen with animated Stargate from StargateJourney by Povstalec (Wold).

Replaces the early Neoforge loading and the first game loading.
If you are not interested in stargate, you can check the Simple Custom Early loading mod that allows you to customize the early loading with your own images and animations.

Please note that I am releasing it for now only for testing purposes; it's not well-tested yet.

The Stargate and background can be customized with resourcepacks made for StargateJourney.

How to Install Stargate Early Loading on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Stargate Early Loading". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Stargate Early Loading server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
