About this Mod
Stenographer
Stenographer automatically changes Minecraft language into your locale as you launch.
Due to some bad locale settings made by some launchers, Stenographer has to fix the language code by the specified country you are in.
Below is the list of supporting on different launchers:

Why?
For many players, it is just a waste of time to change the game language to their locales every time they launch Minecraft, as modifying the game options file is quite a hassle.
Stenographer is very lightweight that it only has one mixin class, but providing a smooth and convenient first-sight game experience.
How?
Stenographer modifies the game language only when it is English, and is not the same as your locale. It does this everytime you launch Minecraft.
If the language doesn't exist, it will just be English. If you want to disable the function, just uninstall Stenographer.

How to Install Stenographer on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Stenographer". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Stenographer server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Stenographer compatible with fabric and quilt?
Stenographer officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Stenographer – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Stenographer consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
